How to cancel Planet Fitness

Planet Fitness generally requires cancelling in person at your home club or by certified mail. Bring ID; ask for written confirmation. Some states allow online cancellation — check your club.

Before you cancel

• Check when your current billing period ends — most subscriptions stay active until then, so cancelling early rarely loses you anything.
• Screenshot or save the cancellation confirmation. If Planet Fitness charges you again, that's your proof.
