How to cancel YouTube Premium

Sign in to YouTube, open youtube.com/paid_memberships, choose Manage membership → Deactivate.
Before you cancel
- Check when your current billing period ends — most subscriptions stay active until then, so cancelling early rarely loses you anything.
- Screenshot or save the cancellation confirmation. If YouTube Premium charges you again, that's your proof.
- Watch your next statement. Zombie charges after cancellation are common — it's the #1 thing our members ask us to fight.
